Directions to White Rocks Marina, Pasadena, MD

Kuan Yin's Berth is E-22 White Rocks Marina on Rock Creek along the south shore of the Patapsco River.  The nearest town is Pasadena, MD.  The coordinates of the berth are:                

39 degrees 09.02' North Latitude, 76 degrees 30.32' West Longitude, or

39.15 N - 76.50 W

The marina offers ample parking, basic showers and toilet facilities (bring shower shoes), dumpster, travel lift, marina office, electric power, sewage pump out, 24/7 access, and an award winning restaurant with sun deck called Windows on the Bay. Annapolis is about 20 minutes away by vehicle or three hours by boat at 7 knots.

Directions to White Rocks Marina on Rock Creek near Pasadena, Maryland from York, PA are as follows:

1. Take Interstate 83 south to the Baltimore Beltway, I-695.

2. Take the Beltway west around Baltimore to Interstate 97 South towards Annapolis.  Stay in the left lane once onto the Beltway and it will automatically exit you onto Interstate 97 for Annapolis which is a left lane exit.

3. Shortly after coming on to I-97, take Exit 14-A for Maryland Route 100 East towards Gibson Island.

4. After 6.5 miles, at the first stop light you come to, turn left on Maryland Route 607-Magothy Bridge Road.

Take Maryland Route 607-Magothy Bridge Road north for 0.3 miles across Mountain Road to its end at a T intersection with Maryland Route 173-Fort Smallwood Road.  There will be a COBE Marine Store on your right at this T intersection and a Seven Eleven store on your left.  Also note that Magothy Bridge Road got renamed to Hog Neck Road when you crossed Mountain Road.

6. Turn right on Maryland 173-Fort Smallwood Road and proceed East for 2.25 miles in the direction of Fort Smallwood State Park and eventually you will see a left turn at Colony Road marked with a blue sign reading "White Rocks Marina". 

7.  Turn left onto Colony Road and follow it to the Marina.  Bear left at the Windows on the Bay Restaurant to get down close to the piers.  Park as close as you can to the end of E pier, which is the 1st pier on the left or 5th pier from the right as you face the water.  E-22 is half way down the pier on the left. 

a.  Push carts for gear transport are available in front of the rest rooms in the gray two-story building on the waterfront with the sun deck.

b. The combination to the rest rooms is "Push 2 and 4 together - release - push 3".

The Marina is very near Fort Smallwood State Park, so if you see signs for Fort Smallwood, you are going in the correct direction. The driving time is about 1.5 hours one way from York, PA
